Great great hidden gem! Well cooked meals with lots of seasoning and huge portions. Their logger is excellent everyone enjoyed it. We all had different things. There was a group of 6 of us eating took about an hour. The waitress was running! She was so sweet and the place was just really fun to hang out in. I had a salad, catfish was excellent and the Cajun Alfredo looked bomb! I’d recommend stopping here for an amazing and cheap meal!!!

Great food, great people, great music. It’s a must visit. Kids are welcome- If you have a typical picky eater: they offer chicken tenders, corn pups(dogs), grilled cheese. There is both indoor and outdoor seating with tables and booths inside. We ordered the jambalaya, fried green tomatoes and Cajun pasta. Delicious. You have to try their famous hot fudge pie.

So good!! Glad we stopped here on our Memphis trip. It's clear there was a lot of love put into this place, not only in the environment but in the food. We tried the Mac and cheese bites, and they were the best I've ever had. I then had the marinated chicken sandwich and split the hot fudge pie (of course!). Everything was splendid and servers were so kind. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Stopped by Westy’s Restaurant in downtown Memphis during our brotherhood road trip—and wow, what a find! We tried the veg burgers which were grilled to perfection, packed with flavor, and served with a hearty side of crispy fries . The gumbo with shrimp was a total standout—rich, spicy, and comforting, with perfectly cooked shrimp swimming in a delicious tomato-based broth . But the real showstopper? Jake’s Original Hot Fudge Pie —a warm, gooey masterpiece that’s an absolute must-try if you’re in the area. Every bite was pure indulgence. Westy’s hits all the right notes—great food, friendly vibes, and a true taste of Memphis soul. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re passing through!”

I’m a Reuben snob. 5 stars on this one. And the cherry: they made a perfect old school margarita. No shaken (watered down) version strained over full cup of ice. My ice actually melted like a proper drink should. It’s the little things. Westy’s keeping it real. And delicious. I’m from Vegas so I know great food & service. Well done Westy’s. Next time I’m in Memphis, I’ll be back!. 5 stars from a chef!

This bar is owned by JAKE! Jake's family started goldcrest brewery and owns this hidden gem of a bar restaurant. I enjoyed meeting him and his bartender Robbie. So much history here and the food is wonderful. I enjoyed the catfish basket and loved it. Don't second guess visit here.
